At Take Note Academy of Excellence, innovation goes beyond technology — it extends into how we care for the people behind the keyboards. On the 23 of July], our Academy hosted a Yoga Day on campus, an intentional part of our curriculum open to both students and staff. It wasn’t just about stretching; it was about expanding, our minds, our awareness, and our capacity for balance in a fast-paced world.
This initiative formed part of our soft skills development program, a core pillar of the Academy. While our students are immersed in industry-leading cybersecurity training and practical technical learning, we are equally committed to shaping emotionally intelligent, self-aware future professionals.
As we usher in our third cohort, a powerful group of students from across Gauteng, we are reminded of our founding promise: to produce not only qualified individuals, but exceptional human beings. Our curriculum integrates practical tools that prepare students for life after graduation. From workshops on digital literacy to meditative wellness sessions, we nurture a whole-person approach to tech education.
Incorporating the teachings of spiritual leader Sadhguru, we encourage students to reflect inward as they prepare to lead outward. As he reminds us:
“If you learn to create the right kind of inner chemistry, being joyful and peaceful is not an issue.” — Sadhguru
This is particularly critical in a high-pressure industry like tech, where burnout is common and emotional regulation becomes an essential skill. Teaching our students to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with their inner stability ensures they are equipped to navigate not just code, but complexity – professionally and personally.
As we continue to build the Take Note Academy of Excellence, days like this are a reminder that we are not only teaching innovation, we are living it. Our approach is holistic, intentional, and bold. Because the future of tech needs more than just brilliant minds, it needs whole humans.
