Bridging physical security hardware and digital intelligence. We design, build, manufacture, and monitor the technology that keeps critical infrastructure safe, at home and around the world.
Unlike standard installers, TN-IoT operates across the full value chain, from engineering to monitoring to intervention.
Our Systems Integrator division handles complex security technology engineering and construction projects from concept to commissioning. IoT cloud platforms, sensors, fibre optic sensing, perimeter security, and less-lethal deterrence systems.
Our R&D division develops home-grown, proprietary security sensors and software stacks that others cannot buy off the shelf, purpose-built for the most demanding global infrastructure challenges.
Our Intervention Centre provides 24/7/365 monitoring and dispatch, intercepting alarms from our technology and coordinating directly with client response teams in real time.
Developed entirely in-house, home-grown tools engineered for the world’s most demanding environments.
Our proprietary IoT monitoring and situational awareness platform (currently in development) will provide centralised dashboards, real-time alerting, and reporting for large-scale infrastructure deployments.
LoRa gateways enabling remote sensor connectivity across vast infrastructure sites where traditional network infrastructure is absent or impractical.
IoT cable theft detection sensors for both underground and overhead cables, utilising LoRa and NB-IoT networks. Deployed across multiple major utility clients.
A home-grown “human-in-the-loop” deterrence platform (pepper or water) utilising computer vision, enabling controlled, proportional responses to intrusion events.
Smart pepper dispensing deterrence units, remotely activated, precisely targeted, and designed for integration with our centralised monitoring infrastructure.
Additional proprietary technology is currently in development. Contact us for partnership opportunities.
Over a decade of protecting the world’s most critical infrastructure across government, mining, energy, and transport sectors.
CCTV cameras, access barriers, public address systems, and a fibre-based perimeter intrusion detection system for port security.
Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) above natural gas pipelines to detect third-party intrusion and potential gas leaks.
Distributed Temperature Systems (DTS) as early warning heat detection for critical conveyance systems at the port terminal.
CCTV and IoT Early Warning Systems to protect railway infrastructure from theft across the Cape Town network.
Deployment of a guard monitoring and tracking platform to ensure comprehensive route coverage.
Installation of CCTV surveillance, video conferencing systems, and admin workstations.
Real-time response to physical security threats, from sensor alert to intervention and post-incident analysis.
When an IoT sensor detects a potential breach, whether a cable tamper alert on a remote pipeline, a perimeter intrusion via Distributed Acoustic Sensing, or an unauthorised presence flagged by drone surveillance, every second counts. Our Incident Response framework ensures alerts are not just received, but acted upon with precision and speed.
Anomalies are detected across our sensor network (Asset Tamper Detection tags, DAS fibre-optic cables, drone-mounted cameras, and acoustic sensors) and streamed in real-time to the NOCC/PSOC. Incident Managers assess severity and classification. Automated categorisation distinguishes environmental noise (weather, animals) from genuine threats. Critical infrastructure alerts are escalated immediately.
PTZ cameras are automatically directed to the alert location for a live visual feed. For remote or hard-to-reach areas, a drone is deployed for real-time aerial surveillance and thermal imaging. Data from multiple sensors (vibration, acoustic, GPS) is correlated to confirm the threat, ensuring response resources are deployed only when a genuine threat is confirmed.
Upon confirmation, the Incident Manager activates the appropriate response layer: Long Range Acoustic Devices (LRADs) emit targeted directional sound; tactical blinding lights disorient intruders; guard teams are directed to precise GPS coordinates. For high-severity events, law enforcement is notified with bundled evidence (sensor logs, video footage, GPS trail).
A detailed incident report documents the timeline, sensor data, actions taken, and outcomes. All sensor and video data is preserved for evidentiary or insurance purposes. Sensor thresholds and detection algorithms are calibrated based on the incident. A client debrief summarises findings and recommendations for hardening the specific asset or perimeter.
Our Incident Managers are experienced in physical security coordination, sensor technology, and emergency response protocols, operating 24/7 from our Network Operations & Command Centre.
