Take Note IT was founded in 2007, to provide cybersecurity, IoT (Internet of Things) integrated early warning solutions, monitoring, and quick incident response services utilizing next-generation endpoint protection and threat intelligence.
Our aim is to ensure engineered digital and physical asset solutions secure your systems, data, and infrastructure for business continuity and peace of mind.
Mamela Luthuli founder, CEO, and Entrepreneur is a well-respected IT security business leader, whose passion for technology gave birth to a vision of a cyber secure and protected digital and physical eco-system.
The digital disruption turned her passion into a business venture, making TakeNote IT one of the leading providers of cyber security and IoT (Internet of Things) solutions in Africa.
Keeping up with the massive increase in cybercrime, digital disruption, vandalism, and theft of critical infrastructure is unsustainable, making the cost of proactive monitoring and prevention critical to business sustainability.

As a Level 1 BBBEE contributor that is 100% black female owned, we are proud of our healthy business and operating mode. We have a strong, diverse, and highly specialised top team, skilled analysts and technicians, and a team of passionate people that will exceed your expectations. Through our extended value chain, we are collaborate with approximately thirty (30) partners and international and local suppliers who work alongside us, contributing to our healthy financial performance and business sustainability.

Today Take Note IT has grown into a sustainable business model with three (3) separate operating business units – Cybersecurity, IoT, and our Cyber Excellence Academy. These units synergistically work together and are enabled and supported by a strong and robust Business Development and Corporate Services arm to ensure efficiency and execution of our business strategy.
Through the academy, we have trained and employed 20 people in the last year. Through partnerships in the public and private sectors, we plan to train an average of 120 students per year to create a pipeline for employment into available positions in the sector – domestically and internationally.
